Shop racking is available in different forms to meet the shelving requirements of your products. For example, pots of paint will need to sit on a shelf whilst small bags of nails will be best displayed hung up on an arm.
The two main types of shop racking are Four Post and Gondola systems. The Gondola racking system consists mainly of traditional shelves, whilst the four posts contain a drilled backboard in which arms can be inserted and items hung on these. The most appropriate racking system for some stores is an integration of the two types which is created by specialist racking companies only.
The type of racking that is used in a shop has a large impact on the rate of purchase as the better that the products are displayed, the more likely the public are to buy them. Also, if the desired products cannot be found easily, then chances are that they will not be purchased.
