Artist’s Statement

The process of making and experiencing art presents transformative and transcendent possibilities. By deeply engaging in the present moment, we are able to transcend the everyday.

In my process of painting, layers of strong colour are built up, containing elements of both structure and randomness, which together create engaging textural and rhythmic geometries. Paradoxically, in this complexity of colour and rhythm, the possibility for stillness exists.
